Petition: Increase AB Servers!

plain and simple, this is a petition fix the AB wait times. As of late, the wait has gotten longer and longer, and now its just stuipd, no matter the time of day. theres plenty of ppl, so i dunno what the problem is.

I would love to AB more, but the wait times keep me and several other players away from it. AB is a wonderful aspect of this game, but as it is, Few people can enjoy it.

Ya, i just spent almost all day just getting 10k, and thats just way to long for baby feed, make mroe servers!!!!1

oh geez. I bet they haven't even increased the support for FA or JQ.... if anyone still plays those two.

Has an Anet employee specifically said that is why there is a long wait?

the reason their is a wait is not because their are not enough servers. every server in a-net hq can run any explorable, town, or mission, and they are re-arranged based on where traffic is. your problem is a lack of opponets.

the wierd thing is that when we go AB some groups have been waiting for several minutes, but sometimes we just go in before them! i think its a "glitch"

It is bizarre that's for sure. It would be nice to actually know what's going on. The wait-times in some of these arena's are quite annoying.
On another note, it would good if Anet reconsidered and made it 12 per team again. I'd settle for 6 per team. Come on Anet work with me ^_^...

sigh.... there isnt a sever problem its simply to many people are on 1 side. Most the poeple went to the Kurzick side not thinking about what itd do so now kurzicks have to wait for ever to get a game while thwe luxons dont but they get virtualy no choice so they always lose.

If you got issues, join the other faction, if you still got problems take it up with ANs designers.

I don't ab anymore. Takes too long and really boring when people run off. So I gotta take yours guys word for it and sign this.

I don't AB much anymore, but I rarely have a problem entering the match when I do. Are you guys sure there are an equal amount of problems on both sides? I've heard Luxons don't have to wait as long as Kurzicks do.

I don't know if using more servers would fix the problem, but I will /sign to ANet doing whatever has to be done to make it easier for us to get in. If it really is just a lack of opponents, then make something new in AB to draw players back to it. They want so much of a PVP base in this game, give us more options with IMO the best PVP this game has to offer.

This is the LEAST of the problems, there are plenty of people all around the world to play with. If you havent noticed, when there aren't enough people in your home servers, they group you with europeans or asians. please pay attention, the problem isnt players, its servers.

a server is assigned according to conditions at the time to give you the best connection.

if the best connection is another server that is where you wind up FOR THAT SESSION.......it is not constantly switching everybody around all the time in mid session

And they should bother doing anything with Alliance battles because?

If you haven't heard, it was stated that they would not be altering old campaigns, except for the ocasional bug fixes and maybe adding a green weapon.

What you're proposing is a big change. It costs money to buy and maintain servers, it doesn't cost money to add a green weapon (the guys who make it get paid the same).

The last thing, Alliance battles aren't very popular anymore. Usually, if I go to the outpost during the week, there are around 10 people max. If you still want to do something little used, expect a long wait.

the only debate is that you seem to think it is servers rather than another cause.

they do not......repeat......do not....have separate AB servers.

therefore there are no AB servers to upgrade

they in fact recently (you must have missed the announcement) upgraded their servers which serve the game not just a portion (AB) on this server and another (arenas) etc on another set of servers......the whole game.

if it were server delay it would affect the GAME not a small portion of it while letting everything else perform well
