Help me With D'Allesio Seaboard

Well me and my friend are trying to do the bonus, we have followed all the instructions to do the bonus up to now on guildiwiki and we are now at the Melandru Offering. When I double click it nothing happens, when I click Ctrl+Double click it says I'm using a melandru offering. And Yes, its the one with the blue urn on top of it.
Does anyuone know why I cant pick it up, and neither can my friend?
Im a ranger/monk hes a necro/mesmer

EDIT - I'm wrong about this, see a few posts below I realize this is a long shot, but just to be sure ... this is the first time you've tried to pick it up, right? If anyone picks it up and drops it, it breaks, and the bonus is failed until you redo the mission. / end edit of wrongness

EDIT - oh, and you're at the one on the, I think, eastern side of the ravine, right? Not the one on the western side past the animated tree critters.

If this is the first time, I'm not sure why you can't pick it up. Sounds like you've done everything else right, and I've never had a problem picking it up.

It *may* be a bug. I remember a thread from a few days ago about someone having trouble with Althea's Ashes. Clicking the alter did nothing. Perhaps one of the recent updates glitched the stands you pick things up from?

Not true. I've dropped it in the past and have been perfectly able to go back and pick it up again. Even got the bonus too. Sounds more like a bug to me, as I have been seeing other known bugs revisiting us of late (like not getting faction when I know I should be, for one).

Hmm, ok! I didn't know that worked. The first time I ever tried it with a friend, we dropped it to fight something or another, it broke. So we never ever dropped it again.

It's always broken and respawned since day 1 of guildwars. The best method is to get the gate open by saving benji's rear, and then go save hablions, then get the vase and take it to where it needs to go.

Actually, the safest way is to clear the path all the way to where you deliver the urn, then go back and get it and deliver it. Any weapon swapping or an accidental click on the "drop" button will make you go back for another one anyway, so the safer method is best.

A warrior/ranger/dervish/whoever with running skills would speed up the trip to get the urn and deliver it, but that is just to save time.
