But, I had a Tyrian Ranger (first char), then made a Canthan Ranger, now I use a Elonian char, what does it make me? If I had a Tyrian Ranger, I must be a Pr0, but I only play on a Elonian Ranger, so I must be nap?
Explain?
Thanks,

It's a generalization, like saying most Chinese aren't white but then someone comes along and says he's albino.
To quote the actual sentence:
"That is true. However, to know that from simply where they are born is quite racist... yet it does have a point. In a PvE perspective, it is unlikely that they deleted their 12 months old Ranger just so they could get an Elonan face... possible, and does happen, but unlikely."
It's possible, as in your case, but rarer. Then again, there are people who have played since beta and still suck.

Ok, my last post apparently never posted. So, here is what I asked for in my OP.
I wanted hybrid ranger builds, the type that are not mainstream. I said this in the beginning, but ppl got caught up in my opinion and took the thread to the left. So, I brought it back to where I wanted it to be. About hybrid builds.
It was never about which was a better ranger, it was always about hybrid builds.

Your theory is totally obsurd! It doesnt matter where u start because u can transfer chars. i Have faction started ranger that can play any build right now and the only tyrian places i ahve is up iron mines in south shivers and all of desert. It really doesnt matter whatsoever which one u start from.

P.S. The transfer of a character doesn't make your fundamental learning any better. To go to another campaign will effect your secondary learning.I.E. The habits you develop early may stick with you for a long time. Spoiled children grow up to be spoiled adults, in most cases, and the same can be said for a player who develops poor skill selection or lack there of. Finally, a player's origins of starting the game have alot to do with how they play. Look at most sins and tell me what you think?
THEY ARE STILL STUCK IN CANTHA!!! Can't beat the game, or left to other campaigns because they are considered a hazard when in a canthan team due to either poor skill selection, lack of direction, or pure prejudice due to people and past experiences. So please people, stop throwing stones in a glass house. When you are forced to hench an entire campaign, things are bad. When you are forced to use your secondary just to get in a team, things are bad.
Critical strike rangers are assassins who know that if they use daggers they can't get a team to have an ounce of confidence in them or their ability. Though the build played out well for the sin/ranger, no one wanted to use a bow from the start. It was out of neccessity that sins started to play like rangers. It was that, or stay in Vizunah Square and do that crazy hip hop dance for a week.

I had no problem whats so ever henching my way through Cantha, I finished it in 1-2 days, got the Elite skills I needed and got out. If anything playing with some R/A dagger build isn't going to make things anybetter. Vizunah Square was easy, if they can't do it with a bow, then how are they going to do any better with Daggers?

A happy new year to you all!
I think that last post was about primary assasins 'forced' to take ranger as secondary.
It's not about the player, but the chapters are different. In Prohecies skills came at a moderate speed, through quests, and this invited one to experiment more with different skills.
In Cantha most skills are available early in the game, but not the skillpoints and credits. This puts the burden of making a good choice on the player, which may push them to a more conservative skill selection, you're just less likely to spend 1K and a skillpoint on an experiment.

And I don't buy into the primary/secondary learning bs. I started as a mesmer more than a year ago and therefore I can act aloof however I want~
PvE is, in general, pretty easy, so I don't think where you start really developes bad habits that can't be done away with (ie. mending, whirling defense, loololol). The more you play, though, the better you get. /age is not a very effective way to tell a player's skill just as /rank isn't, but it's a better indication than nothing whatsoever, and I'll leave it at that.
Prophecies was slower though, yes, and I enjoyed it more.
