How about skills involving 2 attribute lines.
I think this could get real interesting if you do it from different proffesions.
You could use an average of the two skills, so if you 8 attribute points in death magic and 4 in fire magic, you'd cast at a 6 attribute level.
I would make the upper end of these spells super powerful. at level 14, extremely powerful, as this would take attribs of 12+3+1 & 12 to maximize.
some examples
Flames of Hell
attrib: Death Magic & Fire Magic
Flames of hell deal x damage and target starts burning for x seconds
Sniper's Shot
attrib: Marksmanship & Deadly Arts
target takes x damage & has a critical strike of x%
Monsoon
attrib: Wind Prayers & Water Magic
target and all adjacent take x damage and are knocked down for x seconds
Balthazar's Flames
attrib: swordsmanship & Fire magic
your attacks deal +x fire damage and cause burning for x seconds
Generals Command
attrib: Tactics & Command/Leadership
for x seconds target allies spells take 1/x time to cast and 1/x time to recharge
Fear the Reaper
attrib: Death Magic & Scythe Mastery
for x seconds you attack x% faster and cause disease for x seconds
Idea for new types of skills - Multi Attribute

I like the idea, I think it would add more strategy into how people pick their secondary.
Sniper Corps
Fear the Reaper lol. I can see that one being so horrible overpowered.

something like this (naming profession combinations and giveing them a skill for that combination) was sujested before, tbh promotes sticking with the "cookie cutter" combinations when they are like this, and plus you will need to think of a skill for each combination (possibly, especially with eles, considering each attribute line also)

Man, somebody posted it first. I knew there was something I was forgetting to do today...
Anyway, I think it would work best with Elites. It keeps it simple, from becoming dozens upon dozens of cross class skills(which would be confusing). And what do you think of current skills like Sandstorm? If this is implemented should it be moved to a cross attribute skill(wind/air and earth)?
But that's just my two cents
