Hey all

Id like to share with you the build I find very effective in Tomb of the Primeval Kings, while in a standard B/P team (5x barrage/pet, 1x order, 1x MM, 1x Monk). Id like to hear your opinions about this:

Mo/Me
Divine favour: 12+1+3
Inspiration Magic: 12
Healing Prayers: 3+1

[skill]Signet of Devotion[/skill][skill]Healing Touch[/skill][skill]Divine Healing[/skill][skill]Heaven's Delight[/skill][skill]Watchful Healing[/skill][skill]Aura of Faith[/skill][skill]Mantra of Inscriptions[/skill][skill]Rebirth[/skill]

This monk is absolutly no energy problems, and doesnt need BR from the order necro

Any thoughts? (its also usable in other PvE sections, but it works best in Tombs)

unless none of the rangers go /Mo, i dont like to bring many/any enchants as a monk. fingers of chaos along with rend from the chained souls and shatter from the riders tends to make relying on enchants somewhat troublesome.

plus, you only have one one straight heal, sig of devo. with the other skills, you dont what to be running to the front to touch too much, divine healing and heavens delight only heal if the req is made (in the area) and have horrible recharges, and watchful healing, while has a decent boost if it ends early, only grants 4 regen (8 hp per second) for 10 seconds and can only be kept up on one target at a time.

also im not sure why you invest so heavily into inspiration with just inscriptions. does taking ~2 seconds off of sig of devo's recharge rly make that big of a difference?

for tombs, i find that all the monk rly needs to do is watch for line breaks and simply spot heal and watch for spikes. the orders should be pumping out some very good healing support (OoV + hp spam), so all you need is to help out when one of the rangers gets smacked in the face by a rogue grasp or wanders into a shower. other than that, you should usually just be standing around and watching, hoping something goes wrong just so you can finally do something.

a simple WoH monk works rly well there. pure divine/healing relying on devo, WoH, and maybe dwaynas to get the bonus from the orders. throw in hp and GoLE for a bit more healing power and you should be fine.

I find that Aura of Faith stays long enough on a person to be effective, its not like its ripped 3 seconds after it is cast. Often you can predict which ranger will be the most likely to be attacked if the foes break through the pets/minions, and casting AoF on him/her helps alot. Also with 15sec recharge and 60sec duration you can have it on multiple people at the same time. Also watchful healing is MENT to be ripped, thats why its good in areas full of enchantment rippers like tombs

There is no front in a B/P team, everyone is in the same area with the order a little behind that. Divine healing and its twin are not easy skills to use, but when timed right you can heal your entire party in one blow. (421 heal in one blow when under AoF)

Yes, cus signet of devotion + healing touch are the backbone of this build. Also, where else would I spend it? DF is maxed out, and HP would also be a waste since most of the heal from healing touch comes from the divine favour bonus

The fun thing about this build is that you can go on forever, you energy doesnt run out, even without BR from the orders.

Anyway, WoH monks are not exactly original, thanks for your feedback though
