Hot swappable heroes/character idea

OK now that we have heroes and can customize their weapons/skills lets take it a step further....

What about the ability to actually switch between your hero and your character completely?

You're playing your ranger but you want to play as a warrior for a little while...
Just switch your primary playing character from your toon to Koss while questing.

The AI takes over your character and he/she in effect becomes a hero.
XP is unaffected and drops - well you get whatever would drop for Koss.
Heroes level with your character so it's not an unfair advantage or anything.

Anyone think this is workable/unworkable?

I'm sure there's some issues with this but is there a showstopper?

Of course you should only be allowed do this with classes of chapters you own - a small boon for owning all chapters.

awww man, so.....about those heroes. How come they dont count as loading another area when they go threw portals? (lol)

ya the idea might cause problems then people can have unlimited power of farming with koss 55ing with monks and soloing fow with Razah+ they lvl up allittle faster than we do.

Can you explain how they would level up faster than your toon?
The xp is split evenly between party members right?

I don't get the Koss 55ing with monks concept?
If Koss can do it so can any warrior toon - there's nothing overpowering about the heroes that makes them uberspecial.

Can you explain more?
