Im going to make a geomancer and ill be running wards to buff up my heroes/henchies.
Id like to run some damage in so I plan on running the wards,OF, and either shockwave or sandstorm.
What elite would you recommend?
What elite should I use for a warder? Shockwave or Sandstorm?

Um...it's pve. Play whatever you like more. I'd probably go with sandstorm, but that's just a personal preference.
-.-
Sandstorm gets my vote.

Sandstorm has an immensly greater damage threat, and can be cast at range. Doesn't seem like too hard a decision.

I run Zhed with Sandstorm and Wards in PvE, works very well.

Scatter isn't so bad and PBAoE isn't very useful in non-farming PvE.
So I vote for Sandstorm too.
But another option is to take an energy elite, split your attribute points, and blast away with fire damage.
Neither Earth Magic nor Energy Storage needs to be maxed out for warding, so you can put as many points as you like into a third attribute.

I'm partial to fire with an earth splash for wards as well. If you insist on going pure geomancer, Sandstorm is an order of magnitude better than Shockwave (in a team environment at least).

Just capped Sandstorm today and owned Gates of Madness with Norgu, MoW, and the henchies!
Thanks all.
Thanks all.

depends what youre going to do. if your in pvp i would use shockwave (especially if youre running one of those e/d stoneflesh tanks). for pve however, AoE is always needed and sandstorm works very well for that.

For myself, it's Sandstorm, but because I don't like Zhed to use scattering spells, and because I usually set him up as a Ward/Meleer, he gets Shockwave/Crystal Wave.
