Unlocking skills through PvP

This might be a stupid couple of questions...

If I accumulate Balthazar faction points with a PvE character by doing Random Arena stuff, I can unlock skills at the Priest. Fine.

Does this then unlock said skill for this character in PvE? And if so, how do I then go about acquiring it? Does it work the same for both elites and non-elites? And am I right in thinking that even if the skill is not acquirable in PvE for that character, any heroes on my account will get access to the skill?

(I suppose at the heart of this is, for PvE can I unlock elite skills through PvP without having to capture them?)

Nope. Any skills you unlock - especially if they were unlocked by a PvE character, will only unlock them for PvP. So your dude wont get them.

But on a good note, your heroes will get the skills you unlock.

No matter how you got your Balthazar faction, you can use it to unlock skills from Balthazar Priests.

When you unlock that skill, it becomes available for your pvp and pve characters. For PVE characters you must sill buy it from the skill trainer at cost of 1 skill point and your current gold upkeep.

You cannot unlock Elite skills for PVP and have them in trainer in PVE. You must go and capture the skills in PVE via Capture Signet.

Your heros will however have access to elites unlocked in pvp
