Xunlai gold/platinum debit card item
yzeass
Perhaps it might prove to be a logistical nightmare to implement but I would love to see them add a xunlai gold/platinum debit card item.
When this item is in a user’s inventory slot, any time they make a purchase from a vendor the cost can automatically be deducted from your xunlai stored gold/platinum.
Of course the next logical step would be the ability to have it also extract materials from your storage but for now I would be happy with just having it grab gold/platinum.

Well, while it is a rather good idea, it kinda adds something a bit too modern to a game with Guild Wars theme. This would be perfect for "Guild Wars in Space", but it doesn't fit the current theme of the game at all.

NOTE
open storage and dont close it.
go to merchant/trader/etc and conduct business as usual.
does not matter how far you go as long as you dont zone.

And how does this suggestion to add yet another item to inventory fit in with all the crying about there not being enough storage space?
Just take the gold out of storage and spend it, it really isn't that hard to do.

Geeeeeeeeeeez!!! I told you to never give out this secret and look what happens. Before you know it.........everyone will be doing it!! LOL. Man o' Man!! I've been doing this from the Prophecies days......and who would have ever thought that come Nightfall that the trick still works. Gee...I hope ANet doesn't come along and find the "exploit" and slap a "nerf sticker" on it. What would I ever do!!!
Anyways, seriously......just do what Loviatar said.

The whole point behind my suggestion was to save the player time. More time out killing and less time running around in towns.

While you're at it, why not suggesting paper and plastic bags to put your groceries in?

Is there a reason for this?

I don't think this would be a good idea for selling to vendors, but if you can return them to the xunlai for their original purchase cost (1K, 5K, and 10K incriments would be fine) then they would be a nice way to do big item trades without the whole ectos get traded back to the trader for 1K less issue. If the devs want there to be a minor moneysink component, then perhaps a .1% fee would have to be paid when you buy the item.

after reading the suggestion a few times, i dont think i still understand what will it do/improve....

I don't know why you go through the trouble of making it a credit card and all that. It's not necessary to go that far.
You could just simply make it so that when you make a purchase, if you dont have enough cash on your person, it automatically deducts from the stash. No need for a card and stuff. Just extend/modify the way purchasing works to check your stash for the money if you don't have it. I thought Diablo II even did this, at least as far as I remember.
And I don't see any reason why it would be a bad thing, as many people above seem to think. Just a simple change that would be a time saver for those times you otherwise have to run over to the stash and back. What's the big deal? It wouldn't hurt anything, and would save time in some situations.
