Well done to all those involved.

The hat 'storage' now means that all my characters have access to tengu masks and I don't have to attend every 'visit' to get all hats for all characters - and it freed up a few inventory slots.

The party system and trade message board system (which hopefully everyone will start using) will save loads of time. I'm sure, like quite a few other that one of the main reasons why I mostly opt(ed) for heroes/henchies, is the amount of time it takes/took to form a group.

The event itself looks great and even though snowball fights are the only thing implemented right now, is great fun and will provide lots to do over the holiday period.

Almost missed the 'treasure chests' in Elona - but what a nice bonus!. One question though. Are they permanent, or will they vanish at event end?

Please can we all stop 'bitching' about trivial things like the event being a bit late or 'where are the collectors' or 'I want more storage' and enjoy the event.

Thanks to the team who put this all together and I hope you guys all enjoy the holiday and maybe get to enjoy some of the fun you created ingame.

Yes, making an NPC that associates holiday hats with your account instead of character and then generates them on command was an interesting idea.

I trashed all my hats except the ones on my main Character for the same reason. I'm glad I kept them all on my monk. He has every hat available since release and now all my other characters can too!

This is a great update and it was done perfectly with no problems whatsoever. Some mmorpgs dont get a christmas event till the 29th (christmas long gone then) <- now that sucks and i wish everyone would stop bitching please, guild wars has pretty much the best organization i've seen.

That new quest/mission/trade system is good too, although there's already people "looking to cyber for 500g a minute" and "looking for your mom". -_-

Hope that dies down a bit in a week or two.

Gotta say it sucks that if I'd kept my hats, I would now have one for every character and a place to store them. Grrr.

I wasn't here for snowball fights last year, but now that I've played them, they aren't as bad as the Dragon Arena which was terrible and not fun.

Wait a minute - there was no new storage option - right? Just a way to get hats for your other chars as far as I know....or did I miss something?

There is no hat storage. After reading what Gaile posted in the other Hat NPC thread, she said that the NPC acted like a storage for you. Meaning that you can clone your hat anytime you want and you can delete your existing one to save up on storage space.

I love the update,

In the near future i really would like to see a few additions.

Filter / sort options in the new party screen
I can see the number of lines growing fast when people really start to use it.

Cross town searching for groups (and trades) (So i can opt for a few missions while doing a quest for example. When the group forms i teleport there)

(standardized) Categorized descriptions for trades to make searching easier
(Type, price range etc)

but i guess they are probably alrady working on something like that.

A great update. I second the idea of filters to knock out trades from party search, but that is minor.

I've already put the reconnect ability to the test...it works!

I'm enjoying the update immensely thus far. My Mesmer got to pick up a festive Yule Cap, I cleared some room in my storage with hats I'm not using very much of, and had a good 9-win streak in the snowball arena (Interupt ftw?).

Very good update yesterday, perhaps a sign of what the community can expect from their developers with a bit of patience (which some of us no doubt possess.)

90% of the error`s 7 arrive during the loading screen , not when u are at the map/area already, and do you know that if you have the error7 while loading you are actually unable to reconnect to the party honest, dont expect pvp players ( we cant zone back as in pve you know ) going crazy and making a huge party for such a new feature that in fact does not resolve the problem.

Err..how did you decide this thread is meaningful? The other ones are meaningful too, they show care for the game and the direction it is going. I know you guys at Anet know what your doing obviously, but when players suggest things to improve the game, it somehow gets discretited and all of a sudden turns into a gloomy post and a pile of rubbish.
