I haven't tried it, I've been trying to make builds for it, no use. But a thing I've noticed about kournan's, I've never seen it discussed, so I searched, no results, kournans drop and unbelievable amount of runes, I got an ele sup fire magic rune from one when doing a mission with hench/heroes.

Anyone else noticed, also, can something think of a build, preferably warrior.

kournans r hard because if u use enchants they stip them and there r justt too many different classes in a group to be able to handle them all but i dual idea migth be the soa monk with spell breaker sv/av and a famine ranger

I believe the issue with hunting Kournans for example is that there can be Kournans of many classes in a group. When solo farming you only have 8 skills and 2 classes to work with. Countering one or 2 different monster classes can usually be done, but to take out groups of Kournans that may have monks, mesmers, eles, warriors, etc. I think is just asking too much of a solo build.

Perhaps if you have one group of Kournans in mind and can tell us what classes they are then a build could be discussed. Good luck.

well, I have been fighting kournan's with 2 or 3 extra heroes which is quite helpful, but it's still hard, the kournan's I was thinking are outside yohlon (or w/e it's called) haven. Every time a bunch of plants come and poison everyone and kill us.

I was just wondering, has anyone else noticed that kournan's drop a lot of runes?

When I first got Nightfall, I farmed the Consulate Docks mission for runes.

With a team of 4 (primary and three heroes), I would get 2-3K plus half a dozen runes/insignia.

I just tried "soloing" it with a primary MM and Dunkoro (who is required for the mission), and got killed in my first couple of tries.

Frankly, there are a lot of monster types who drop a ton of runes -- Cobalts and heket come to mind. Cobalts are thankfully restricted to two professions, so that makes them easier to solo farm. Best build for them is probably VwK, but I don't have a ritualist, so I made do with an earth tank until I got tired of it.

Consulate Docks - you can solo farm the first part of the mission (The Warriors/Rangers/Paragons at the start, and the first Field Commander group).

There are no Seer spawns until after this point, so its easy to SoA 105hp farm the Kournans before this.

When Nightfall came out you'd get upto 3-4 colored armors just in these ~20 or so enemies.

Kournans are mainly unfarmable because of enchant strips. But! That doesn't mean everything in Kourna isn't farmable

I have three different places in kourna.. (Insecticide outside arkjok ward, rihlon refuge's spiders, and that one hidden city thing guess it's in vabbi...) all those with ele.

My dervish can farm the many bosses outside of that one city that I don't remember the name of, but you've prolly seen the 130 hp boss farming post on this forum that just wont die.
