Hello,
The Hat NPC is a great way to free up space. So why not implement a Armor NPC that works along the same lines. Of course you would need to tweak a few things.
Example: My warrior has 3 sets of Armor
Armor NPC learn those sets of armor just for my 1 Warrior.
Allow me to buy those sets from him for 100gp per piece.
Now I can destroy the Originals and get the sets from the NPC as needed for that One Warrior.
Take Care...

Even if this did get implimented, keep in mind that armor sets would be much more complicated than just event hats. For one thing, all runes and dyes would not be copied; you'd get blank armor. It would be more logical to have a more traditional kind of storage for extra armor.
Also, this wouldn't make any sense at all as far as lore is concerned. You show a guy a simple hat you got for free in a special event and he can copy it for 10 gold:- makes sense. You show a guy an intricate piece of armor that cost you 15k to craft and all of a sudden he can make a perfect copy for only 100 gold:- makes no sense at all.

Karzinon Zealot
yeah. it wouldn't really make sense if you put in some Obsidion armor that cost X amount (X= Way to much) then get it on another charachter for only Y (Y= 1/1000 of X) That would be pretty cool though...
Anti Oath
it would be better just to have an infinite storage for all gear

I was thinking of a little drop down menu beside each armor type (head, chest, feet, etc). Once you acquire an armor, it gets logged in the drop down menu aby the appropriate body part. When you want to switch to that piece, simply select it and bob's your uncle. I have NO idea how difficult that would be to programme, but I think it would be a nifty format for selecting armor that you've purchased.
