9 rings anyone?

Has anyone noticed that they might bring a game of chance to the towns? There are 2 sets of 9 rings. :-D Discuss..

Maybe its to determine which hat the district will get.

I'm not so sure that they are for nine rings anymore...they are positioned facing each other and in lions arch one has presnets and jelly ect near it whilst the other features huge angry toy soliders and a gingerbread man stuck in the snow....pleasant vs not so pleasant....Dwayna Vs Grenth finale?

Could be anet have thought of a new system other than the players gathering around the favoured god.

If they are nine rings then there'll be NPCs added to fleece some cash off us soon enough I suppose.

i may be wrong but i was thinking it may be a new system for the finale.and would work as a means off auto-adding gifts to your inventory on the gift drops,this would ease off all the abuse and name calling involved in other events that have used the scramble to pick up first system.just a guess though.

No wonder theres no Wintersday celebrations in Cantha. Its against the LAW!

I don't think it's for finale. Why? Because I remember seeing such rings in Ascalon and Drokna's Forge too (from screenshots anyway). And those 2 places don't get the finale event.

thanks for pointing that out.i haven't been back to tyria for a while and did not no that.so just my wishful thinking then,guess its gonna be a hunt for an empty district for me then(same as last year).
