At the moment its seems that way, but i am sure as the days get closer to the main event, there should unfold more games/ways for us to get CCS. But this isnt confirmed as such, and we will have to wait and see. cheers.

Last year they were a drop and found in Winter Gifts. So far I've only seen them in the snowball arena. In short, they might end up being a bit like Jade Wind Orbs in quantity if the quests give a good number shards...

No idea what we'll use them for yet, other than a mention to save them for the finale...

The better question is, "Do we know how many we'll need to be prepared?" This is a tough time of year for people to find time to devote to the game. Many of us (myself included) will spend a couple hours ahead of time to get the prerequisite amount and not otherwise be playing except to attend a finale on the 1st.
