Treasure Chest / Buried Chest

just a question regarding both the treasure and buried chests. according to guildwiki you are only able to open a chest once per toon. does that mean 1 treasure chest/buried treasure from all locations or 1 chest/treasure per location?

edit - the chests/treasures im referring to were introduced with yesterdays update and they require no keys

Each chest you come across can be opened once by each person in the party, assuming they all have keys. If someone doesn't have a key, they can come back and open it if they find one.

These are new chests.
And yes, they can only be opened once per toon.
Thats once each...
So if you find another you can still open it.

to the OP. yes once open/used per that charter you can't come back and reopen it. can't farm it. well you can come back to "try" and open it but it will give you a message that you used it or empty or nothing found wile digging

according to wiki there are 4 buried treasures and 6 treasure chests all located in different areas of the game.

so my question is this. if i take one of my toons and open a treasure chest at location #1, will i be able to take that same toon and open a treasure chest at location #2? is it 1 chest per toon or 1 chest per location? hope that clears things up a bit

ur toon can open the 4 treasures and the 6 chests once, after that it says, "u dig around but find nothing". u can then get another toon and open them all again.

The same character can open the chest or buried treasure from different zones. I am sure of this. I have two characters that have successfully opened these new type of chests in multiple areas. (I think that was the actual question from the OP.)

So, you don't have to pick only one to open. You get to open them all!

ya, what i've found tho. is that each chest drops an alloted amount of money and 1 gold item. but the gold items seem to b specific to nightfall(skins that is) ne1 else come across older skins?

Nopes so far only NF skins and I only have 2 more chest to go now... All the gold items gotten are pretty lame cept the Azure Shortbow which I gave to my toon. Everything else had a REQ > 12

Does anyone know if this is a permanent addition or just available during the winter fest?

yup, i've found a spawning power (req.13 ) factions skin staff (Spiritgarden's staff skin) in Jahai Bluffs

2 guildies one got a ruby and the other a diamond from those chests i was with them i was so jealous cuase i told them about them in the first place
