You all probably know what I'm thinking of. Go ahead and guess before you read any further. Whenever a city or town or outpost gets taken over by either a luxon or kurzick guild, you can't buy armor, you can't sell things to merchants, and you can't buy skills if you are of the opposite faction. Honestly what is the point to that? It's just so stupid. There's no reason for that. So I propose one of two solutions.
1. Change it so that possession of a town does not influence the mercs
Or
2. Make it so that when you beat the game you can sell to either side without a problem. After all, you are the hero of both sides after you defeat Shiro, right? So why should you be denied basic services?
the most annoying thing about factions...

Yep, that's right. Nobody reads the stickies.

This thread is pointless anyway. ArenaNet has already said they won't be doing updates of this magnitude to previous chapters, and it's not that hard to just map to a different town or use your Guild Hall NPC gang, if you have them.
And by the way, just because you killed Shiro, that doesn't mean both sides are going to love you. You are still an ally of one side or the other, and they are at war, after all.
