I created this thread for peple to show their most consecutive wins in the snowball arena. Aswell as possibly give out tips of how they did it and what seems to work/not work for them.

Currently my best is 70 wins. Took almost 5 hours to do it. Having people spread out in the beginning to get the the packages quick was key to many 5 - 0 victory's. 4 spawns 4 people you do the math. Another useful tip is for people to pair it two's incase someone gets knocked down or killed you have someone to back you up. The best tip i can give people is prep with hidden rock at the start, gives you a distinct advantage at the start

70 is awesome, I might have gotten there had we not had such problems keeping a stable 4th. My best is 57.

Man I don't see how you could play for so long. I think I got up to about 20 or so and I just had to quit, it was getting so boring. I'd rather farm scales in prophecies pre searing than do that. lol

I thought the OP was in my team, I only have the screeny for 64 wins here but we got up to around 70 before we all got tired and sloppy, a member was also disconnected during the last match (he reconnected afterwards just to see the opponent give in their last present XD)

The team was wonderful, teamwork was flawless.

In terms of tips, use the hidden rock preperation before the door opens and spread out immediately. Hone in on the first present, apart from the runner the rest of the team should choose an opponent, daze him and hex him with 3 and shut him down with 1 afterwards. I happen to be a rit so Jack helped a lot.

Most i got was 12, we could have gone further but we lost a monk and a warrior, and they were replaced by a dervish and a ranger who weren't very good. The team worked really well with two monks, a warrior and a necromancer, we had a good level of support on presents.

In the first Wintersday I think I got about 50 in a row. It was a full warrior team.

180+ is just insane but seeing how it was a guild team thats just manipulation of the enter button

My highest was 45, but the funny one was when I had an 8 win streak with probably the worst team I played with.

We played 8 teams that had afkers in a row.

Best I had this Wintersday was 48. The competition level this year was higher than last season (when I had a 76 win streak), probably because people were both more familiar with the skills and gunning for title points.

My most surprising run was a 36 win streak with a team that faced some disadvantages. The first 12 wins or so involved a very immature teammate that was mainly leeching to hit the Skillz title level. When he got it and left (at the beginning of a round, of course), we got a new player that consistantly connected about 1 minute into the match. He stayed until the end, and somehow we ran off another 24 wins. Quite challenging!

Most I had was a 37 win streak until my connection dropped so i'm sure we would have won a lot more. Took about 2 hours and a half. Many of the wins were flawless and also a handful of them were again afkers/leavers/leechers. There were a couple close games, the best one was a match where we found ourselves down 1-3 I believe and came back to win 5-4 with the opposing teams present about a pixel away from their avatar! We literally held their last present runner back for about 2+ minutes, thanks Avalanche!!!

As far as tips, pray that you don't get afkers, leavers, leechers and pray even more that you don't get Grenth. As a monk I like to play defensive and delay opposing teams runners by knockdowns and can usually take on two players at once for a very long time because of Ice Breaker. This leaves the rest of my teammates on a 2v3, which if they know how to play, should give us a victory. If they don't know how to play then there is nothing I can do about that. Also, a slick move that you can do when trying to knock down mesmers who are running presents is (since they usually try to interrupt your snowball with hidden rock), after you have cast hidden rock, cast snowball and immediately cancel the spell, the mesmer should have then interrupted nothing which leaves you free to cast again and knock em down and take the present. Then you taunt and shout "SUCKER!".
