Is this really worth of being an elite?
[skill=big]Defensive anthem[/skill]
If you compare it to Aegis
[skill=big]Aegis[/skill]
Aegis has 5 seconds longer recharge time, but lasts 1 second longer (and even longer with 20% lnoger enchantment mod). Aegis can be stripped, but Defensive Anthem ends if party member hits with an attack skill.
So, imo Defensive Anthem is not worth of being an elite.
Defensive Anthem

It can't be stripped, so it needs its elite status. Not worth taking instead of something else is probably the better words.

there is no shout that can be stripped....
i agree...this skill should be buffed/ or made a non elite ...with minor nerf

Yep and that's the way with many paragon elites:
Anthem of Guidance(unless you are rangerspike)
Cautery Signet (pwned by martyr or extinguish)
IJAFW (pwned by RC)
Song of Purification(Extinguish again)
and so on...

I actually use Cautery Signet with Remedy Signet Really nice Condition removing.

Differences between the two:
Aegis requires you to put points into Protection Prayers. Defensive Anthem requries you to put points into Leadership. Hopefully, you'll be using more Leadership skills than Protection Prayers.
Aegis takes longer to cast and has a longer recharge time. As stated before, it is an enchantment, where Defensive Anthem is a Shout.
DA is an elite, unlike Aegis.
DA ends prematurely if ally uses an attack skill. Not all allies have attack skills, and big deal if they use it before it ends (as long as they don't use it as soon as its placed on them).
DA gives the Paragon more energy back for each party member affected (because its linked to Leadership).
DA can also be used to affect echos too (when a shout or chant ends, the echo may be renewed or the effects of an echo may be activated).
Minions have no attack skills, so they can have it just like Aegis.
Hope this gives you some other things to think about when compairing the two skills.
