Instant or 1/4 second healing spell?
Sp4rt4n Xun
I have endure pain, but are there any other healing spells (for either healing, str, or tactics) that heal instantly or with little cast time (for use in running)?
ShadowsRequiem
healing signet :P
and defy and endure isnt healing, its prolonging your demise!!

There's Glimmer of Light, with a 1/4 sec cast time. Not much of a heal though, without divine. Plus it's elite.

From my experiences in running, healing is for safe spots only. When you're actually running past enemies, you need to protect yourself instead of heal yourself. This can be done via. regen, armor boosts, hex/condition removal, etc.
As previously mentioned, Healing Signet is one of the best options for healin in safe spots.

healing touch................. (enough dots yet?)

Healing Hands casts in 1/4 second, but is only good if you're getting pelted by attacks while running, as it only heals when you take damage. And it's no good if there's enchant removal about. It's elite too.
Healing Breeze might be better; 1 second cast for constant regen while running through an area (good for degen) and works fine for healing you when you have to stop as well. But again, if there's enchant removal about, you're in trouble.
One alternative is to take a Ranger secondary for troll unguent - which cannot be shattered - slap it on before you head into a tough area and let the regen give you a head start. Some good stances for running as a ranger too (Storm Chaser probably being the best one you have practical use for).
As far as direct heal spells, you really are better off with your healing signet once you reach safety - Monk heals are only situationally useful unless you're actually a monk.
Oh, and don't forget mending, the answer to all problems.

Infuse Health lololol
AC10
Signet of Stamina is good for running, and is similar to (but better than) Endure Pain.

I was playing a Rezmer in RA once with 16 fast casting and I casted Healing Hands so fast (1/4 second cast) I didn't even see my guy move his hands >_> No joke go try it cuz it's lightning fast, and it was nice healing my team with fast cast heals like a Healing Breeze that's about 1/4 second cast or 1/2 cast at most with +9 regen... rofl

Spirit transfer.

For running, Restful Breeze is becoming a new favourite. 5 Energy gives you a solid amount of time with +10 Regen, which is well worth the price.
If you want to be really sneaky about it, try the Assassin skill Feigned Neutrality, and see if that helps.

but yeh its a good running skill. just run for a minute, stop, recharge, go for another minute. simple its only a minute if you're a dervish primary. since he's using endure pain, i'm assuming that he's a warrior so his avatar of balth will only last 15 seconds.

Then run 15 seconds, wait 105 seconds, run another 15 seconds.
What if...
You're having way too much fun with this.

back on topic: use sin and get deaths charge and heart of shadow. each one has practically no cast time and shadow steps you for a 100+ heal.

If your character is Me/Mo, and you have about 12 FC (not sure if this is accurate) and you use a 1/4 healing skill, it should cast at about 1/10 of a second which is the cutoff for instant cast skills.
