Holidays and Hair.

1.- Well, for some reason, I've never been able to be on to get holiday hats

So I was wondering, why not let the ppl actually get the hats at any time during the event not just the last day, and what is most fustrating is that I've been playing this game scince day 1 and can't get nothing to show off, and at the moment, not even sure if I will be able to log in on the wintersday finale to get this year's hat

So the suggestion is pretty much to extend the time to give out hats, not just one day.

2.- After like 18+ months of playing, I am kinda bored of seeing my characters with the same hairsyle, so I would also like to suggest making like a barber in the big outposts, to be able to change your hairstyle, on both color and type.

NOTE:

If this suggestion is posted wrong in some sort of way, plz post it and gimme time to change it, and don't want flaming and want to keep this up. Btw, searched forums, didn't found nothing related with this.

Hats are hard to get.

MOST of us are out with our families and not being nerds! So we can't get them! But I could get stupid hats like the dragon hat and the halloween things.

Hats are supposed to be hard to get. I've been playing this game since last Christmas and have never gotten, one, actually. It was never worth the effort to me, and that's fine.

I wasn't aware that Jan. 1 was a big family gathering day, incidentally. It's not like they give them out on Christmas or something.

January first I'm usually recovering from a hangover and sleeping in...

K well how about second suggestion? Guess Anet does have a point on making it a one day, it's kinda to show who in the world would stop his real life activities to go in the game and be a nerd all day to get the hat?

I wana change my Hairstyle to, getting tierd of the same hair style EVERY day! And i'm lucky snice my family dosen't do anything on Jan the frsit so I can get my Winterfest hat.

i wish they would've done what they did with the dragon festival- put a generic NPC there for a week and allow anyone who missed the finale the chance to get their hat anyway. I've missed 2 or 3 hats because i couldn't make it to the finale for one reason or another, and i was very happy knowing i could still get my hat even though i missed the dragon festival finale (i don't think i've made it to one finale, always out with my family/friends on days like that)

dont get me wrong, hats are really pretty cool but there is one huge glaring fault with them

they remove your hair when you wear them

now this looks pretty stupid especially when you are used to your character having long hair then all of a sudden they are bald with a hat on.

its this reason alone that im not too fussed about hats and also this is why the pumpkin masks are the best hats as they hide the whole head so you dont see this horrible mess

yh, i wish you could get hats all through the festival..ive never gotten one either..1 xmas 2 halloweens? i only got dragon mask..

Last year the time to get the hats wasn't on Jan 1st but Dec 31 because I remember going afk at a new years party. If you want a hat you can go afk for a day or log on at one of the three hour intervals and go afk for the event again.

I do agree though that there should probably be more time to get it. During the dragon event I was just happy they extended it.
