There is also a Rift Warden in Kamadan so you can do the PvE game against the grinches in the UW. A glob of Frozen Ectoplasm dropped for me there and I traded it for a Yuletide Tonic at the Tonic Maker. I did not use it yet, but all it says is that it cannot be used in PvP. Oh, and in the game I played you go solo.

The CC weapons are great for newly started characters. Highest damage versus no requirement.

I got all my CC stuff last year, when it was cheap, so this year I quickly got some daggers, scythe and a spear, and a spare staff for when I make a new character. Now All my characters can go candy cane warrior!

Hmm, the candysmiths in LA, Droks and Kamadan don't seem to have any of the offhand weapons in stock O_o (Focus, and the two shields). The only person I could find that gave them is Candysmith Marley in Dwayna vs Grenth (the Snowball fight waiting area).

yes, you go get Wintergreen candy weapons, and they are inscriptable.
you will only get them if you entered the tournement.
but the agent is not around yet, so no one knows when we get them.

I wish anet would for once let us collect actual usuable stuff in these kind of events. I would love to use a 6-28 candy cane axe. These 10-10dmg weapons are worthless and not worth keeping with the limited storage we have. And now we also get to make all those extra hats, though i would love to keep em, I just can't... and those are pretty useless too unfortunately

They should be customized to fit not only the character that created them but also to fit their class, like an 60 armor yule cap for my rit

(not more unrealistic then tatoo's giving you armor, or those masks of mesmers

)

The weapons are 9 shards each, 12 is for the shields

I was hoping there would be new things, almost got all of them from last year (not daggers, spear and scythe offcourse)

oh well anyways I can sell some more CC shards haha (already made 160k of them)

funny thing is that I am a pack rat, I have from every event the special items and collectables more then 50 and from the most of them more then 150, heh

anyways, of to farm some more

Once you have talked to a hat maker, the hat blueprint is stored for all of your characters forever. Unless you have old dyed ones, there's nothing stopping you from getting rid of all of those hats in your storage, and crafting one for 10g when you want to wear one. I just cleaned out over 30 storage spaces from my account after getting rid of all of my hats.
