Why is it that traveling from one campaign to another is such a pain? Why do we have to teleport first to another city? I almost never want to be in Kaineng or Lions Arch, yet I always have to stop in one of them when traveling. It's stupid and serves no real purpose.
So here's a proposal. When you open the map, select which campaign you'd like to go to, and the screen will switch to the map of that campaign and then you choose which city/outpost you want to go to and voila! Saves a load of time for people who have slow loading times.

God, yes.
I don't understand how they shipped Factions and added the battle isle with this system implemented. Everyone complains or asks for a lot of other things, but this is the change everybody wants, even though they don't know it.
Let me make this dead clear: cross-map mapping is the biggest change that'll affect the most people in a positive way that Arena.net can possibly do. And is probably one of the easiest things to implement, I'd assume.
Math: suppose the average Guildwars player only loses 2 minutes a day of his life on average waiting for undesired zones to load. Let's assume there are only 50,000 active players in the whole wide world (which is also a low-low-low ball number when compared to reality)... That's around 1,666 man hours a day. There's 8,765.81 hours in a year... multiplied by a life-span of 82 years.. so about every year this goes unchanged it's about the same as killing a single person. Or two. Or three.
I've been trying to find some reason why it's like the way it is - I don't see any good from it except keeping people out of instances for as long as reasonably possible. Insights?

This will NEVER happen because that boat is the chapter "bottleneck". Currently, the game only needs to check if ou have chapter 1 when you try to use a boat. If the bottleneck were removed it will add a LOT of surplus checks every time someone hits M to bring out the map, so this will never happen.

So, why can't the boat be used to select which campaign to bring up?
There could be technical crap that I just don't get, it wouldn't be the first time.
