It works definitely, had been doing this since the hero system came out. You can make HERO A target HERO B and cast a maintained enchantment HERO B by selecting HERO B's name in the party list and have HERO A cast it on the hero. Try it it works. Had been doing 3 man farm with my heroes. Was fast. darrengordon
Hi guys its real easy,
1) as stated deslect the auto cast (look on keys in options for button if you have reasigned already), once de-selected big red circle with cross thru will appear 2) select yourself as target 3) click on button (green tick will appear) the hero will then cast strt away works first time every time, have the skill turned off and manual cast. how are the droprates for you? i just got 1 magonit gemstone in 2 days farming ...  (without a hero)

Not possible unless u are superman. Cos u need to be the monk to superposition ur self so the mobs surround u nicely so famine will takes effect with AV/SV to all enemies when u get strike by melee.
If u use a hero how would u even notice if ur hero will be doing damage to all the enemies constantly. Even if you know, it would be very very hard. I would actually dare to say that this farm is one of the more advanced farm especially if you are doing using heroes like me. Real human players need perfect coordination and knows what they are doing. Tried with my guildies they can't get the hang of recasting spirits and stuff. LOL so I ended up with my heroes. Jhadur can't help u much I tried at least 50 retries before I get the hang of it and know what's going on. 90% of the time nowadays I suceed, 10% is bad spawn and lag. Just hope a kind soul post it for you. Else trial and error.

Since the last update that messed up the zoning from one town to the next, the drop rates for titan gems has really dropped as i have noticed. But im pretty sure there are other's who beg the difference. Anyways the build is fun you can probably still get around 60-70-80k for each titan gems which is the main reason for farming, along with the LB points. Anyhow the drops rates for me 3 weeks ago was around 3-4 titan gems every 2hrs with hero. Now i get luck if i get 1-2 in the same time frame.

just a question, wouldn't it be better for ranger to take watchful spirit (+2 regen, and mending requires 3 in healing for +2 regen). and balth's spirit instead of succor. Then monk would take Lightbringers Gaze and hopefully will be able to kill the remaining Titans.
+ i would be VERY thankful if you posted how you manage to get the torment gemstones, because in the very first 4 groups there are no melees... and that's bad + they keep daze on you edit: you can't keep up SB ALL the time can you?? just out of curiosity El_Inferno

but there's a small pause between 2 qz's. as there are no margonites anymore, there is only 1 qz, so it has normal recharge of 60 sec. Or that small pause between 2 qz's is fully covered with SB last time?? i might be wrong, if so plz correct me

It seems anet nerfed the drop rate of gems. I was also doing solo stygian farming and used to get 4 per run. Now im lucky if I get 1. Horrible. Just to teach the farmers a thing or 2, it's now very difficult for a normal team of 8 people to walk away satified for their hard work.

I don't see a nerf, considering when I'd farm stygian gems, i'd get 1 every 4 runs, not 4 every 1 run. I doubt they nerfed it. You are just getting the BAD odds, since you've been getting 4 every run instead of lets say... the 1 or 2 they planned. So now you're getting the bad end.
If someone doesn't get an ecto every run, they bitch about a nerf, if someone doesn't get a certain item when they kill a boss, they claim nerf. yes it does. but after the update it has become more difficult, since cast time of SoA has been altered to one second (instead of .25secs) and ancestors visage has been altered too, it only lasts half as long now, but recast time has been lowered down to 20 secs, so its only an energy problem, since you have to cast them more frequently

we got a problem with essence bond though...
It wasn't giving energy o the ranger... i guess its because they switched mobs to non-physical & non-elemental damages, but i'm note sure... anyone got this problem? anyway its still doable... darrengordon
Yeah i had that for a few seconds then it all comes back and is ok, i think it is just lagg as wehn it causght up i got a whole screen of purple.
I had it for like half a run then was fine, not nerfed unless today as i was doing it fine last night. Only time it dosnt work is if you use shielding hands.

I've tried about 18-20 times now with a ranger hero. Every time, either the spirits dont reach me or the enemy, and then I move him closer and he SOMEHOW agroes them while they arent in his agro bubble, or one monk is left and I cant kill him (poison DOES NOT kill the monk). A video would be nice from someone using a hero please.

This build... having very difficult time operating it. Must be post-patch issues. The titans did not want to mob up right and were happy to wander around. Their aggro seemed very large and messed up.

If you aggro more than 4 they will scatter from time to time but it's no problem since you can easily lay the spirit outside of their aggro circle.

I take it nobody has tried mo/w with [wiki]"Fear Me!"[/wiki]? better for taking out solo remaining casters. Works well in UW, and it can't be interrupted.

Im also playing around with an ele. Its hard because ess bond only triggers if i actually take damage, eles can easily negate it all, but then my partner doesnt get energy and cant keep up spirits. Im trying to find the right combination of defence so that my healing is sufficient to counter the damage.

ok about the titan farming i do this alot with a guildy of mine we dont like useing heros of rthe 2man hero take drops rather split it with a real person the problem with the titans de agrooinnng is the folllow ing the nerfed eoe(made then smarter ) kinda but anyways to get by this what you do is when the titans spawn dont use sv right away you wan t o pull them to the wall (blue line ) then you slowlt dragt hem against that wall in direction of the red line and when you get in corner you start with sv then they dont move away

The trick is to get in the group and form a ball. Monk and Ranger build should have essence bond and ranger balthazar's aura too. Mana it's not a problem neither is interrupt  . I had some troubles at the beginning but now i fail like 1 in 15 runs .
