I was playing around with my new ritualist using Restoration and Recovery. I noticed before long that whenever I cast a spirit it would be facing east no matter what was I was facing.

Is there a significance to this? Are you guys having the same thing happen?

They're praying to Mecca, obviously.

No idea, probably just that a default direction is needed for orienting things, and typically on a cartesian plane zero degrees corresponds to east. since the positive x axis is 0/360 degrees, and on a map would be east, it just makes sense from a default perspective.

It's just like Dodge/Zojun's Haste.

Whenever you use the skill, there are 2 flat yellow panels coming out of your body, but they always face north (the super paper thin sides are W and E)

I was playing GvG yesterday, and was waiting for a bit. We run a split build with a ritualist on our flag team and I'm always on the gank team. We had changed monks and while the enemy was turtling I looked at the spirits and I was shocked.

They face east indeed.

Pac-man always comes from the east and the ghosties are very scared of him.
Is very true.

I didn't really ever give a damn, so I never noticed.

They face east indeed. yup same here

(i guess they might have had orientation programming problems)

-also it would be weird for a spirit with chains-to-ground to be spinning around in circles.
