Spoil victor build i have been using..
Saider maul
I have seen most Spoiled victor builds using insidious parasite, and life siphon.
Though nice for burying the important hexes it makes the bar's dmg output almost 100% conditional.
I came up with this to be slightly more direct and durable.
N/ME
Res Signet
signet of lost souls
Blood Renewal
Spoil Victor [ E ]
Parasidic Bond
Accumulated Pain
Blood of the agressor
Vampiric Gaze
Attributes and weaponset are in the pic.
It is important to hold the accumulated pain til you have hexes on at least 2 people. once the fields is dropped down and your playing cat and mouse with the monk for hex removal throw the chain SV + PBond + accumulated pain +dark pact +signet of lost soul + vamp gaze,... repeat 7 & 8 until target is down if team does not follow call.
This has worked well for me in RA,TA,HoH, and GvG.
enjoy.
Update: changed dark pact to blood of the agressor per Hella Goods suggestion. TY

Forget the skills for a second, you have all your spells laid out backwards!!! Just kidding, arrange them however you want, but it looks really strange to me having the utility skills in the first slots and the attack skills in the last slots.
Moving on....Does SV even work in PvP, unless you are running a 55 build? Seems to me the condition to activate it would be a deal-breaker in PvP.

^I've seen some people attacking while hexed with spoil victor in GvG o_O sure, they were certainly retarded, but it was a good way to put pressure on enemy monks. if it is covered then the hexed guy is screwed, unless he want to die...

Actually that condition, although still iffy is very easy to fulfill and its less of a damage dealer to me than a good Grenth's balance without being lame. If you get it on warriors who are attacking then you know they will almost never be much higher than their target without a monk involved.

getting Spoil Victor to trigger once on any target is pretty easy. True only a Noob or someone who feels its worth killing themself to take a target down will continue to attack with SV on.
Its not hard to keep the dmg rolling, moving target to target while playing cat and mouse with the monk trying to remove them.
one nice thing i have noticed is that SV triggers upon their activation of a skill. the dmg they inflict with their fatal move has to take my remaining hp +72hp which is given to me between the time of their death and the last skills impact. 95% of the time i survive. this won me a sudden death battle in RA. lol
I just dont like builds where every bit of dmg is conditional . at least this way i can steadily vamp/shadow strike and exploit those who continue to attack while under the effect of SV.

That's not true. A perfect example will be a Sin unleashing a fash combo. Or a Monk hitting fast minor heals on a target with less health. I have used SV in PvP a lot. RA, TA, AB, HA, GvG. You should see what SV does to Ghostly/Guild Lord... The build I use more or less adheres to the one I've posted on Wiki awhile ago:

You can read plenty of discussions on it there.

I'll have to try blood of the agressor. I seem to have looked over that.
I posted this here because i have not seen a spoil victor build here.
glad to see we think similar.

You can tank even better with a combination of Life Siphon/Blood Renewal in RA/AB. The massive regen allows you to soak up a lot of damage. And there is always the timed heal from BR to hit. Sig of Lost Souls and BoTA are rly nice helpers as well. I've had countless (esp melee) players keep attacking or casting through SV because they think I'm almost dead and easy to take down. And at the same time I have enough back-ups to be able to feel very comfortable maintaining a relatively low health %. SV is one of those skills you play relying mostly on psychology.

I just use the RM build and switch RM out for SV and it works great, at least for me.

i take down most other SV necros using life siphon. they see to lack the more direct dmg and the deep wound. which allthough slow it is powerful when executed right.
Very true this build has to be played smart to trick your foe into triggering SV a few times so your spike can be used properly.

Siphon does -3 degen which isn't exactly spectacular but it's still pretty good. It most importantly gives you 3 regen, from every target you have Siphoned. And... it lasts a long time. Now if you hook it up on a several targets, Life Siphon gives you massive regen buffer for degen and spike damage. It has to do with playing it smart, LS allows you to take damage w/o having to rely on the instant use of a skill to recover.

still i prefer direct dmg vs degen/regen.
