Charging Shadows

PvE

Fissure of Woe Chest Runner

Strength - 12 + 1 + 1
Shadow Arts - 12
Tactics - 4

Charging Strike {Elite} (Strength)
Dark Escape (Shadow Arts)
Deaths Charge (Shadow Arts)
Healing Signet (Tactics)
Shadow of Haste (Shadow Arts)
Shadow Refuge (Shadow Arts)
Endure Pain (Strength)
Signet of Stamina (Strength)

Usage- (Assuming you know basic FoW Chest Running)
1. As soon as you enter the Fissure of Woe, cast Signet of Stamina.
2. Spam Charging Strike when it is about to run out.
3. Use Dark Escape when you know you are about to take a lot of damage.
4. Use Shadow of haste when you are getting to a chest with ANY enemies near it, even though you think you wont need it. In the long run this will have you spend less time regaining health, and therefore making the run faster. Not only that, but Shadow of Haste helps avoid deaths on *Death Chests*, chests that are placed in areas with absurd amounts of enemies around them.
5. When you reach the Spider Caves, you should sit in a crevice and heal up using skills in this order, (Making sure to time them to cancel Wastrel's Worry) Healing Signet -> Shadow Refuge -> Healing Signet -> Signet of Stamina -> Healing Signet -> Shadow Refuge -> Healing Signet -> Charging Strike -> Repeat. Heal until you are at full health.
6. When in the spider caves, and you are in a crevice with a chest nearby, use Shadow of Haste BEFORE moving out of the crevice, Deaths Charge to a foe near your chest (Without Guilt on you!), grab the loot, and cancel Shadow of Haste to return to your safe spot.

This build is fairly user friendly, and only takes one or two runs to familiarize yourself with aggro patterns and timing. Currently I run the Fissure of Woe flawlessly, getting all 5 chests every run. If you need help with the usage of the build message me on my IGN Wave Victory.

**I actually created this build a long time ago, and was quite selfish in not posting and keeping it to myself. Nowadays I come into chest runs and so many people have copied the build from me, that nobody believes I was the inventor. I was the first person, as far as I know, to bring W/A into Fow chest running, and I believe the Idea for W/A Torment Runners stemmed from someone who observed me using this build. My only wish is that myself, Wave Victory, and my friend Hawk Gothica, be credited for the creation of the build.**

wow ummm theres no need for 14 str and only 4 tactics O_O
If your a W/A you should be packing Shadow Form, one of the best running skills out there, dying? put up shadow form and weeeeee run like hell

shadow refuge is a terrible self heal, put tactics atleast at 10 so u get a good 115 heal.

charging strike is pretty crude to use as a main running skill, use enraged charge instead, sprint, dark escape... shouldnt need anymore running skills.

First of all, i would like to point out that if you think my build is so terrible, then make your own, and post it.
Second of all, if my build is so flawed, why can i run all 5 chests?
Charging strike is an excellent running skill, it is able to be maintained constantly, therefore freeing up other skill slots.
Shadow Form is a great running skill, but terrible in FoW, because of its short duration.
And Healing signet is only used for its 4 second recharge time, to cancel out wastrels worry as often as possible, with the added tactics not needed at all.
Now before you insult and flame my build, please check to make sure that it does not work...

You should realize when someone is just giving you some criticism. 17 seconds a short duration? wow, use a 20% enchant axe/sword then... Yes my build is a tested a proven build, if you can run DoA and Margonite chests with no problem you can EASILY run fow.
wastles worry = nothing why would you stop(a 2 sec cast time, and -40 armor for a like 63 health heal you're a smart one.) to cancel a skill that gives 63 dmg?

so next time I guess I wont try to help improve your build, i'll just read it as another garbage post.

Drop shadow refuge for feighned neurtrality.
Drop strength to the breakpoint to keep charging strike up 24/7
Increase tactics, so your heal sig doesn't blow

Why are you suggesting Shadow Refuge as a suitable heal in the spider cavern? Shatter Enchantments loves it.

Anyways, this build is not meant to be perfect, but it works perfectly fine for me just as it is. If you want to mod it up for your personal use, please do so.

Btw I tried running it with more of a balance between strength and tactics, and it didnt make a noticable difference to me. I think the main thing that makes someone a good or bad chest runner is simply experience. The only thing that differs this build from many other popular ones is the utilization of shadow of haste, other than that the skills are loosely attached, and they don't need to be perfect, so long as you know your way around FoW. (On a side note many of the skills i chose for this build were there simply because i was too lazy to visit a skill trainer and buy a better skill for the slot )
