Hi all!
Sometimes I found it really hard to find minion in the battle because I don't know any key for highlighting the minions as it exists on allys. Is there any key to do this, or I just have wander my mouse in search for my minions in the battle?
Any key for highlighting minions?

I don't think there is. As far as I know, there has never been a key to highlight minions. Use your mouse, its the easiest and best way so far to do this.

Wasn't there a post a bit back where a few people messed with interfaces or macros or something like that to target things like water buffalo and mini-pets, could this be used for minions?

That was to target those things that are normally untargetable.
You can target minions, but its not the same as targeting an ally, but it is almost the same as targetting NPCs that are with you, but not as part of your party. In otherwords, you can target them, but pressing ALT doesn't work.
There have been posts in changing this, but so far, no luck.

Didn't they use to highlight when pressing the Alt key? And then they changed that? Maybe my memory is not working properly, but I think we used to be able to at least highlight them. I'm not too thrilled about the current state. Esp with MB builds.

Your memory is not failing you Hella. They did at one time highlight when you pressed ALT. That was before Factions. I missed that...

They really should make it easier for MMs to target Minions. That's one reason I don't run the build myself. It's a pain to target a specific minion with the mouse in mid battle. However, Olias doesn't seemed to bothered by it; I haven't heard him complain yet. It is very easy for his AI to deal with the problem of targeting minions, making him much more efficient than a human player.
IMO this give Olias a huge advantage over human players, making human MMs less valuable than Olias.
Anyone else take note of the sky-rocketing price of MM runes and insignias? No doubt everyone is outfitting Olias as an MM. This could translate into human players having a hard time finding teams for PVE.

ever sense the nerf to MM changing it to 1/3 benifit from verata sacrifice and capping the minion count at 10 I have not enjoyed the build. MMing Just became alot of repeatative maintance for minimal benifit.
I was really interested in the rt/n minion bomber but its very true minions are hard to keep track of for targeted spells.

The ALT key used to highlight *some* minions, but not all of them. It NEVER worked correctly, and now it doesn't work at all.
I remember trying to highlight my minions so they could be easily counted in a screenshot. Some of them got highlighted, some didn't. It was obvious, because at least one of the non-highlighted ones was standing by itself.
I ended up counting tails and dividing by two.
86 horrors/fiends with 10+ offscreen, but on the radar. Ahhh, the days before the minion cap.....

I remember running round the shiverpeaks (on our way to cap FoC) before the minion cap with 4 MM's...we literally had 100's of minions...was so overpowered in PvE lol - we just demolished anything we came across taking no dmg watsoever. Was great fun lol....
