Popped in to Mineral Springs last night, to help cap SoJ and was perplexed to see a large number of bots, the scene was reminiscent of Elona Reach back in the day

Bots and all the things game developers don't like will never truly go away, unfortunately. People will always ebay gold or whatever it is that they do which is against the rules. This applies to most online PC games. The dev's do their best to at least try and minimize it, but some people are very cunning. If you fix one thing, they find other ways to get around the fix. That's the way it is, and probably always will be.
Just ignore it knowing it's probably not doing a whole lot to affect the economy or ruin the game in general. It may affect these things, but I dont know, the game is still pretty damn fun to me so I dont think about the things that go on that shouldn't be. Obviously there's nothing we can do about it. Whatever we know, I'm sure the dev's already do.

I can tell you that there is no bot in Granite. Here's what really happening...
1. Make a new Mo/W and get through pre-searing real quick
2. There are W/Mo's in post-searing Ascalon that offer to run the entire map plus capping Shield of Judgement for 35-40k.
3. They travel to Kamadan through Lion's Arch
4. Pay another 10k at Consolate Dock to get the mission done.
5. Get to Yohlon Haven.
6. Get out to Arkjok Ward and start botting.

No bots in Granite? There's no way for you to know that for sure without being connected to one of these companies, which could get you in a lot of trouble.
