Follow this path, being extremely careful to aggro no more than one group of Margonites at a time:

When you get to the NPC, have a Monk (Human or Hero) run towards him and enchant him with Protective Spirit. The attacking Margonites should shortly begin to ignore him and focus on your party instead.

Credit to Psamathos of GuildWiki for the map. For more information, check out this page.

Abandon ALL other Realm of Torment quests except for the primary one. What class are you, by the way? If you're a ranger, you can go R/N touchie but you have to bring Energizing Winds or you will be serioulsly energy denied.. Follow the path on GuildWiki, but for the double mob in the path to the fortress, flag the henchmen back and pull one mob at a time. The aggro range of these mobs is huge (they followed me all the way back to the outpost once) so you should be able to pull them back safely.

You have to persevere.
I think I had a fairly OK time with my Necro but my Warrior was at 60 DP midway through the fort. But I stuck with it.
I would kill 1 important target (Healer or sorcerer) and then die (because of my DP)
I would respawn and then get 1 more target - Die again.
When I got to the scout that needed protecting I ran past and activated the shrine on the other side of him and agro the group.
That was the closest fight I've had in PvE in a long while. We where swapping deaths for deaths and it ended with just Koss and the scout alive againt 1 margonite who eventully died.
Koss had rebirth but not enough energy to use it (damn DP). So I had to make sure the shrine was active and then made Koss run back to some Titans and get squished. The whole group respawned at the shrine by the scout - spoke to him and completed quest

Took 40 - 50 minutes
(my hench / hero group was not nearly optimal but I don't like to give up)

Heh, I don't go through the castle AT ALL. In all the primary Torment quests, there is always a path initially blocked by a Torment Claw. I have found that to be by far the safest and fastest route of them all.

If you want I can run an escort service for you, but you have to be very cooperative.
