Hello fellow Guild Wars players.I'm new to these forums, but not the game.Recently,I've been having a lot of problems with FPS.Now,normally I have a 45 FPS when I'm in towns,or outposts,or when I'm standing still outside. But when I start to move, the FPS drop to 9-15 and if I continue to play like that, after about 1-2 hours,my game freezes, and I get a error message stating my card got caught in a infinite loop. Here are my system specs:

Dell DXP051
Processor:Pentium D 2.8ghz
Bios:Phoenix ROM BIOS PLUS Version 1.10 A03
Memory:1 Gig of Ram
Graphics:NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE Integrated RAMDAC 512MB
Drivers for my video card are:Main driver:nv4_disp.dll
WHQL Logo'd:Yes
Mini VDD:nv4_mini.sys
VDD:n/a
DDI Version:9
DirectX Version:9.0c
Internet: DSL(Speed:100.0MBPS)

I've ran test's,which all come up fine.I have no clue whats wrong,I'm still a bit new with computer's,so I hope thats enough info for you all. Thanks

I have the same problem.

GW has run fine for the past year although i have a nvidia geforce 2 MX 400.
Suddenly today it starts getting really laggy even in the loading screen and eventually comes up with the blue screen saying there is a problem with the nv4_disp driver being caught in an infinite loop.

What do i do? Update drivers?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

your cpu looks like everything should be fine. I just bought the 7300GT and it should be at my house when i get home tonight, so then i'll be installing it. the problem should not be originating from a high end card like yours. i mean, those things are top of the line. Your problem might and i emphasize might, be with your processor. but i doubt it. try updating your drivers on your graphics card and then pm me with your answer.

a geforce 2mx 400? there is your problem. the graphics card can't support the game for too long before it crashes! if you look at the system requirements for the graphics card for nvidia is a geforce 3 or 4, with the recommended card being a 4 ti. Get a new graphics card if you are seriously interested in gaming! i highly recommend updating your driver if you don't want to get a new graphics card.

If you both want, you can PM me if what i said was entirely wrong.
