Depravity was changed!
Noose
I'm not really sure what this fits under, but here it is.
The curses skill, Depravity, used to read something like "whenever target foe casts a spell, all foes in the area lose x energy."
Now, it reads "whenever target foe casts a spell, that foe and one nearby foe lose x energy."
I think Anet was sneaky on us, I'm pretty sure there wasn't even an update.

Noose
really? I'm pretty sure it was done sometime today... when did you hear about it?
edit--yeah, i'm pretty sure, the Priest of Balthazaar had it the 'new' way
gwbbc code still has it as all foes, so i think something must have happened

If you take the time to look at the talk page of guildwiki on the skill, you'll see it was changed back on Dec 6.
Clinically Proven
[Trex] did some rough testing on Depravity for a GvG build, the original skill description was incorrect. The target foe always lost the energy, despite the description saying otherwise.
Whether they updated Depravity to match the actual skill effect or changed both the skill desciption and effect I'm not sure as I haven't re-tested since they changed the description.

Doesn't this thread already exist...?

This thread has existed, indeed.
This is old news.
Depravity still works, I've run it successfully in HA.

But yeah, Depravity was changed a while back (with the Paragon nerfs I think?). There were no updates about the change, so the few people who used it were understandably upset. Though Depravity deserved the nerf (since it affected both the target *and* all nearby enemies), it would be nice to actually hear about it in the update notes sometime.
Former Ruling
They didn't "Change" it.
They just fixed its desp to accurately show what the skill actually did.
Same with Lyssa's Assualt, in the same update (on Dec 6th) they changed its desp to where the energy scales from 3...10 when it used to say 10 at any attribute lvl. It had ALWAYS scaled if you actually had used it before the update - so it wasn't a nerf.
