Ive actually been killing things in Talus Chute, not running, & using 450g keys.
Recently, I opened 9 chests & got 9 purples!! This is not random. This is weighted & rigged. 3 friends & I have had horrible luck using 4 keys on the same chest. Randomize the chests or give all gold. The combos for gold drops
are endless. Also, make it so you can move items directly from storage to trade. Also, I'd like to be able to delete all the useless chatter from my chat window so the ^ arrow will focus on the important phrases.
Thanks

Simple solution, change chests. And just turn off certain chats.

Yes, the chests are rigged. The drop chances of gold vs. purple are 1:10 (or something like it), pehaps even 1:5. If they were only gold, they wouldn't be random, would they?

Using 4 keys on a same chest is no different than using 4 keys on 4 different chests. Also, whether you use 4 keys in a row, or if 4 different players use 1 key each has no effect on what the drop is.

An 9 drops in a row? Chest running is where you start with 50 keys at minimum. After that, you can get a hint of drop rates. As always, you'll need 250 or more keys in a single area to get an aproximate ratio of purple vs. gold and the overall statistics of the drops.

450g chests suck anyways at 600 you have a one in three chance of gold, 450 is something like one in 5.Condiering 450g chersts aren't even max half the time, dont waste your money on em

You realize that one chest will drop the same color item no matter how many players in your party open that same chest.

Thats why when chest running in groups, you take turn opening chests, so that you can see if its purple and then move along to the next chest.

Whether the chest is gold or purple to begin with, that is random, but after you open it, its not going to change from purple to gold.

I'm wondering if he is right. I bought 17 Margonite keys just a min ago. I dont run all across the Realm of Torment. My first drop was a Gold, 16 drops after where all high req. purples. Im not best pleased.

450g Is what I paid for keys worth, supposedly, 600! The true randomization of chest drops would mean no weight toward high REQ purples. It would be random. Responses stated 1 in 5 or 1 in 10. Those are odds like in Vegas. If Vegas were random & not weighted toward the house, Vegas would not exist.
The chat window fills up with MY useless chatter. I would like to perm. delete
things like "np" & "ty". Also thanks Pickle for actually sticking up for an idea. It's nice to actually see everyone who responed not be a jerk.

Chest drops have always been crap.

Solution: stop throwing money away on keys and go buy the item.

Quote:
  • Do not post "A Few Ideas" threads. If you have more than one idea ---first double check with the search button and the index thread to make sure they're fresh suggestions, and create a seperate thread for each one with a relevant title.
  • If you don't feel like creating a seperate thread for each suggestion you have, post all of them in the Index of Ideas thread stickied at the top of the forum.

By the way, chests have always sucked for a lot of people. You don't see us complaining, at least, not in public.
