Suggestion: Skill Draft Tournaments

After reading the announcement regarding the final ladder reset I read the "Universal Tournament Rules."

Upon reaching the section regarding "Skill Card Distribution" I was confused and asked a guild member what the heck it was talking about. As far as I knew there were no skill limitations in the major GW tournaments. (Well, except the Core + NF restriction in this recent tournament).

Upon hearing his explanation of how the system works I became intrigued. The system seems very similar to a booster draft in Magic the Gathering or something. And I think tournaments using that rule set and style would be incredibly fun.

Unfortunately, I dont lead the kind of lifestyle where I can travel any signifigant distance to participate in a tournament like this in person. So my suggesting is this.
Implement some kind of system into the game so that tournaments of this type can be played completely online.
Whether this is to be accomplished by adding the system into the interface so that they can be done frequently, or by overseeing tournaments like this at semi-regular intervals as special events of some sort.

I think this type of play is incredibly interesting and would stretch some players skills by forcing them to play with limited skillsets and non-meta game material. (just like in a trading card draft).

So, what your talking about here is Sealed Play correct?

if so, I have always liked that idea myself.

Sure, it would be cool to have some sort of system to be able to do this online.
