The point of the build is to spam Blood of the master with Aura of the lich barely sac'ing any health at all, so you can constantly heal your minions allowing them to take large bit of damage before they die. You'll also have some extra protection using [skill]Conviction[/skill]. Dark bond is a very nice skill to reduce damage, but Conviction obviously won't damage your minions. [skill]Vital Boon[/skill] + [skill]Signet of Pious Light[/skill] are used for healing. At 8 Earth prayers, VB+Pious sig heal for exacly 220hp. That also happens to be the exact amount healed if Heal area was used twice with 8 in Healing. Since your health is being halved by AotL, the healing from those 2 will usually max out your health bar. The only 2 enchantments in this build also have a positive effect if they're moved. AotL will result in your normal health amount being restored and heal for 253hp, and Vital boon will heal for 142hp. Because Conviction is a stance, it'll rarely be removed and if both your enchantments go down, you'll get +3regen from it. VB+Pious sig already heal for large amounts as it is, but if you get into an emergency, you can manually end AotL and get a full heal.

For the optional slot, you can put in a Res sig, or another minion of choice. Infuse condition would be good to protect yourself from poison, or other degen.
In areas where you'll know hexes will become a problem, [skill]Pious Restoration[/skill] can be used to end Vital boon, and remove a hex at the same time (assuming VB was removed while enchanted with AotL). If Pious restoration is used, put whatever points you have left into Wind prayers. Taking down your rank in Soul reaping by one will let you put alot more points into Wind prayers, and have just enough to remove 2 hexes.
