I never play a sin so have no idea what skills to give the hero so I never use it...but I decided to slap a few skills that I had unlocked on and try it for fun and I think that a sin hero works great considering I don't know what skills to put on, so does anyone have a good skill bar? I can use any skills from all 3 campaigns I capped them all on my warrior and can buy any that I didn't unlock in pvp yet. Also what runes?

Look at the Assassin's build forum, that should give you a good idea of what to use.

Depending on what your primary character is and what other heros that you use, you may want to change some of those builds a bit.

As in, if you were a Necromancer/Mesmer, you can use skills that need a foe to have a hex, and instead of equiping your hero with a hex skill (you still may want to, just to do more damage or something), you can hex the target yourself.

I have all the skills in Factions, but only 1 skill in nightfall (feign neutrality). I'm not sure how FN will work with a hero. Remember, heros will use some skills more often than others. If you equip it with shadow stepping, it will aggro and get into trouble very fast. As the rest of your group will need to get into position to fight (where the Assassin will be pounded heavily since there is no one else enemies can attack).

Critical Strike, Shadow Arts, Dagger Mastery would be good choices for runes.

Hope this helps a bit.

My original question was not clear I think...I have looked at the builds on this site and wiki..I guess what I am asking is are there any skills not to use. Such as cyclone axe for a warrior hero (they will not use it, or at least mine wil not) Also was curious if they chain correctly like will they use a lead attatck first always or will they do something stupid and use them out of order (like fire elly using echo on fire attunement) I have noticed that a lot of builds I use on my characters simply wil not work so I was curious if anyone had a good build for sin that they would use properly, or if they have better ai and will use any build correctly. I made my build out of very limited skills at first and seemed to be ok, but didn't kill as quick as I figured and have seen other peoples hero sin do (yes I should have paid attention when playing with that other person's hero's but I didn't evem think about it at the time. Thanks for the reply

this might not quite be the help you want but i set my assassin hero as critical barrager. zenmai uses it extremely well sets down the skills the right way. i have also seen a hero build with leap mantis string wild strike temple strike crit strike twisting fangs crit eye but havent had time to watch this one closely yet. hope this helps

I also use Zenmai as a crit archer but with Disrupting Accuracy & the elite assassin stance that adds more crit chance. So far its doing good.

Jelloblimp, sometimes if you have multiple offhands and dual attacks ( like the overpopular Shadow Prison combo ) , AI will sometimes so funny stuff indeed.

On my Yanssassin build, they'll use MoI, BLS, Hoto(!), fs, tf. Instead of MoI, BLS, TF, fs, hoto.

I use the Yanssassin on my Zenmai, and she's a killer with it, it's one of the best builds for her. As long as there's enough healing support for her, we, myself being an assassin as well, and using the Yanssassin too, can clear pretty much anything.
