Why cant i connect?

Hi im new here so hi , Well I have this problem where i couldnt connect to guildwars when i click on it. It worked 2 days ago but now when i click on it it shows up but it just says connecting to arenanet. Are they having a matenance or something? I dont have any fire wall or protection on so I dont know whats going on. x_x

Had the same problem. If you wait long enough you will get error =058.
If you are sure you connection is 100% fine, a reinstall is probably the only way out.
It worked for me.
Pity the Guild Wars support site seems apt to blame your connection and dont even mention that reinstalling fixes this problem.

In this case reinstalling the game is a bad idea as the majority of the players has connectionproblems atm... somehow the server are f00ked

J3mo, computers are inherently unreliable. The GW server is a computer.

Everyone, please stop blaming ANet for server issues when you haven't got a clue behind the cause.
