Ok - this is really bugging me.

I have repeatedly tried the strategy listed on this forum and on guildwiki (The one which involves pulling the bear away from the charmer) but I just can't get it to work. I am starting to think it has been nerfed as the bear is capable of using breaking charm from more than 1 + 1/2 aggro circle distance away. I was wondering, has anyone actually managed to get this strategy to work recently (i.e within the past week) and if so, how did you do it? Also, would anyone be willing to help me get one?

Yep, capped it last week. We had the runner move in a zig zag away from the bear. Otherwise, we used the exact same stategy from wiki

I have one as well, and I've helped others cap them.

Make sure the person doing the capping does not aggro the bear. When the person tanking hte bear takes aggro, make sure they align themselves and the bear so the bear is directly between them and the capper.

That is the easy part.

The very instance the bear uses .... ahh... that skill (it's 2:10am and i can't think of the skill name :P)... capper starts to cap and tank beginns running away from bear, and capper. If they start at the exact same time and it's right when the bears starts mauling you should have no problem.

Timing is the key.

If the bear goes to use Break Charm dont' stop. It will use it, probably more than once, but if you do things right the bear will be out of range by the time it tries and although it may keep trying you'll get the bear capped.

I got fed up with trying to get one so I just picked on up in post after a drok run . With a little handy footwork I was able to avoid the lvl 20-24 mobs (I was lvl 12 and alone at the time) and charm the bear.
