I've tried (to no avail) to add a link to a "My Downloads" folder on the right side of the Windows start menu. I was wondering if anyone had tried this before, and moreover if they got it to work. Attached is a zip folder of screens detailing the operation described below, along with the completed registry entry. Maybe we can get this?

What I did:

The 'menu position' screen is of the location I wish to put the item.

Created the set of registry keys included in the path that enables showing a folder in the properties of the start menu (location in the 'registry editing' screen.) Adding this key should have enabled the option to display a second "My Pictures" link on the start menu, but it didn't.

I then searched the shell32.dll that is referenced in the other registry entries and found some possibly useful spots. The screen, 'shell32useful1', shows an entry that pertains to the registry information. Whereas 'shell32useful2' shows the items referenced in the "Text" registry strings.
