Green items, why 35 gold?

Why is the value of all unique items 35 gold? Shouldn't it be a bit more? Most uniques sell for less than their base item type would have if it was white. They should up the price to something higher so that finding one of the countless useless uniques that noone will buy isn't actually worse than finding a white item :-/

You can always give the unwanted green away.
Someone else would be happy with it and it will 'cost' you just 35 gold

Exactly. They are worthless, or worth 35g.

Greens are guaranteed stats. Unlike purple and gold items which vary and cannot be farmed, greens are guaranteed drop. As such, they are trivial to farm = they are worthless.
