I use an almost identical build for limited teams where you might need to solo monk, like the Shadox Nexus for example. For my build, I drop hex removal for Prot Spirit and use Dismiss Condition, which doubles as a straight heal since all your teammates are enchanted.

I'm not sure if you're looking for just prot, but oftentimes I prefer to play a hybrid. Here's what I run for general PvE most of the time:

Prot 12+1+1
Healing 10+1
DF 8+1

Reversal of Fortune
Shield of Absorption
Gift of Health
Dismiss Condition or Mend Condition
Zealous Benediction {E}
Protective Spirit
Holy Veil or Lightbringer's Gaze
Rebirth

Reversal of Fortune

Protective Spirit
Aegis
Glyph of Lesser Energy
Rebirth

Divine Favour 10 (9+1)
Protection Prayers 14 (12+1+1)
Healing Prayers 10 (9+1)

If you have to, swap out Aegis for Remove Hex. Glyph is great for spamming Aegis and also gives you a free heal on your next spell.
Using the glyph with 2xZB on two <50% health party members is also a nice 20 energy returned.

Not gonna see anything groundbreaking in this post, my PvE prot build is fairly simply.

RoF
GoH
PS
ZB
Hex
Condition
Rebirth
GoLE

Hex or condition removal can of course be taken out for AoS, SB, or Aegis if the mission played is devoid of either conditions or hexes.

my prot monk:

16.Prot Prayers, 13.Divine Favour

Zealous Benediction/Restore Condition(i use RC if the heal monk use WoH)
Shield of Absorption
Dismiss Condition(i mostly use Dismiss Condition as a heal)
Reversal of Fortune.
Aegis/Rebirth/Glyph of Lesser Energy
Rebirth/Smite Hex/Glyph of Lesser Energy
Spirit Bond/PS(i like Spirit Bond better than PS)
Glyph of Lesser Energy.

This Build works gr8 with a heal monk using this build:

WoH/LoD(use lod if the prot monk use ZB)
Dwayna's Kiss
Heal Touch
Signet of Rejuvenation
Healing Seed
Signet of Devotion/heal party(depends on the mission)
Resurrection Chant
Glyph of Lesser Energy/Leech Signet/Channeling

16.healing prayers
13.divine favour(i decrease the amount AP in divine favour if i use leech signet or channeling and put em in inspiration magic)

In PvP, going without a rez is fine, but in PvE, the monk is almost always the last person standing and not having a rez here is usually a bad idea unless A) you are going for Masters on a timed mission and a team whipe except for the monk is just as bad as a complete whipe or B) you are travelling with only hench/heroes and don't care if you might have to completely start over.

My PvE build atm:

Spirit Bond
Dismiss Condition
Reversal of Fortune
Zealous Benediction
Gift of Health
Guardian
Shield of Absorption
Channelling

Hehe its a real gay build since it got no Res or Hex Removal But I don't really need that in the desert I kinda rely on other monks hex removal... No Res cause I'm mostly the 1 rushing in with my non concentration I probably swap out Guardian for a Hex Removal since there are more casters probably then physicals

I don't have a monk in PvE, so this is what I run on my heroes.

hero #1
[skill]reversal of fortune[/skill][skill]zealous benediction[/skill][skill]gift of health[/skill][skill]shield of absorption[/skill][skill]dismiss condition[/skill][skill]glyph of lesser energy[/skill][skill]aegis[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]

which goes well with this:

hero #2
[skill]orison of healing[/skill][skill]light of deliverance[/skill][skill]heal other[/skill][skill]healing touch[/skill][skill]healing seed[/skill][skill]glyph of lesser energy[/skill][skill]aegis[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]

I have not included prot spirit/spirit bond because heroes cannot use them properly. Hex/condition removal is thin/not there but I have not had any trouble with it so far, usually NPCs don't use their hexes/conditions well enough to cause problems.

my prot works really well for the later missions in NF. I tanked shiro by myself at the end of the gates of madness mission.

Prot 12+1+3
Divine 12+3

reversal of fortune
zealous benediction
protective spirit
shield of absorption
signet of devotion
dismiss condtion
aegis/hex remove
rebirth

always keep protective spirit on ur self in a fight, since ur health is pretty low with 2 sup rune, protective spirit should limit the damage to around 40. SoA should always be used with PS for max efficency. reversal of fortune can stop around 160 dmg for only 5 energy. signet of devotion is for energy management. zealous benediction should be used carefully because you will run short of energy if u use it too often, since your target can get healed by another monk just before you cast zealous benediction. dismiss condition is a cheap heal+condition remoal, rest is up to your preference.

Why do everyone use dismiss condition? Mend condition is a looooot better!

Dismiss condition:
u remove a condition from target ally and if that ally is under an enchantment he is healed for x health. (cost:5, cast 3/4, recharge 3 secs)

Mend Condition: u remove a condition from target ally and that ally is healed for x health. (cost:5, cast 3/4, recharge 2 secs.)

Asu can see u always heal with mend condition and it has a recharge of 2 secs instead of 3. Use this nice skill plzzz

Because some people prefer having a self condition removal?

Also, for prot monks, chances are that your allies will be enchanted... you can use dismiss as a plain heal occasionally if you have to.
