Ice Speear DOES NOT trigger SOJ

With my recent experience farming Ice Imps I have noticed that some of them survive longer than the rest of the mob..... Then I realized that the spell they use, "Ice Spear" does NOT trigger shield of judgement.

Either Ice spear or SoJ is bugged.

Anet pls fix this

No, you're wrong. Both skills are working as intended. You know why? Well, guess what? Ice Spear is a Spell.

Ive been using this skill for quite some time now and I'm pretty sure spells like ice spear (attack spells) should trigger it, for example maelstrom is a spell and triggers soj.... heres a pic.

I believe you are mistaking the Ice Imp's normal attacks with Ice Spears. They both look similar.

the picture says 264 ice spear attacks... and their normal attacks do trigger.

Also, there's no such thing as an attack spell... you might mean that there are spells that do damage, but I don't think they trigger SoJ.

So you mean to tell me a spell like "fireball" will not trigger soj if a monster used it on me, because its a spell?
