"Free" loot

When the various buried treasures, treasure chests etc were introduced that you could open without keys, I seem to remember people posting that you could only open one (regardless of type) for each character on your account - is that correct? I ask because I already dug up a buried treasure in the Mirror of Lyss some time ago, but just now when I was hunting in the Desolation I clicked on a treasure chest just for the heck of it - and got 2 platinum and a gold scythe out of it. So is it actually one type of treasure per toon on your account, or did I just get lucky with a glitch?

A guildie told me you could have 7 per character.

You can open each "one only" treasure chest and buried chest once only per character. Each chest/treasure on the different maps is classed as a separate chest/treasure and thus if you open one, your not stopped from opening the other's.

They just added some new "chests" like that.
You can open each one once per character.

In case the other posters were unclear, there might be maybe 4-5 buried treasures. If you opened the one in the Mirror of Lyss, you can open OTHER buried treasures, but not the one found in Mirror of Lyss.

on every char you can unlock/open the 12 different locations once.
