I'm trying to make a fairly balanced PvE dervish build, being able to tank some damage and deal a bit as well. I'm currently using D/E, but can change secondaries.
Right now I have:
Mysticism - 9 (8+1) to reach the checkpoint of 3 energy
Scythe Mastery - 11 (9+2)
Earth Prayers - 10 (9+1)
Earth Magic - 8
0 left over attrivute points.
Skills:
Armour of Sanctity
Aura of Thorns
Mystic Sweep
Conviction
Mystic Regeneration
Vital Boon
Armour of Earth
Sunspear Rebirth Signet
It seems to be working fairly well but I think it could easily be improved. Any suggestions?
Could use a bit of help
Tyrl
Coloneh
stoneflesh aura, and i dont see an elite.

Looks good but I'm going to make a few suggestions. My math is a bit Fuzzy/Hung-Over so I can't tell if you're level 20 or not. I would only spread attributes into 3 skill lines. Since you're only using Earth Magic for armor of earth I would recommend dropping it altogether and putting your leftover points into Scythe Mastery or Earth Magic. Top priority to me would be raising SM to 12 to get the listed damage of your scythe.
Then I would take out AoE and Mystic Sweep. I would rather bring no attack skills over only one. Especially when you have a sweet elite that rewards you for doing so. Get Vow of Strength from Captain Mhedi in the Barbarous Shores in Kourna once you get on the mainland. Then put that in along with Heart of Fury to take care of your damage department.
Last suggestion I would make is to switch Veil of Thorns in for Aura of Thorns, works better at triggering Armor of Sanctity.
For attributes I would suggest putting the majority of your points into SM with a healthy amount also into Earth Prayers. Since you're not using any mysticism skills feel free to put less points into it.
For equipment Windwalker's Insignias are perfect because of the amount of enchantments you'll have one you. I like the rune setup you have now. I would recommend using a scythe with +20% longer enchants because you don't really gain from stripping your enchantments for the Mysticism return. Zealous will help if you're having energy problems.

Forget Captain Mhedi easiest place to cap it is right outside Champions Dawn. http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Ensign_Jahan

Thanks. I'm only level 18, so will be able to raise some attributes even more.
