if someone has brought this up before, I am sorry...
We should have an option to keep dead bodys on the ground or not. This option would stop lag in many places, mostly missions with big battles. You could do the option many ways, like a high, medium, and low selection, or a optional body take away timer, lowest could be 0-???? how ever many hours.
What do you think??? I would hope to help all the low graphics guild wars players out.

Yes it could stop lag, but you have up to 24 people in an instance (12v12) or a standard of atleast 8 in PvE, so how would you get them all to agree, and what about your MM in your group, with nothing to exploit.
All calls to alter the corpse decal time have actually been requesting a longer time-frame, so big battles, such as Thunderhead Keep etc where you are stationary, the corpses are exploitable for longer.
so /not-sgined im afraid, I play an MM alot, and don't want a team mates slow PC to be the reason why i have 0 seconds to use a corpse.

The time a body remains on the ground is not determined by the client, but rather the server, as a time frame in which the corpse can be exploited. To remove them immediately would destroy the Minion Masters, and to leave them permanently would create severe balance issues, coincidentally directly linked to Minion Masters (and other Necromancers that utilize corpses, though to a much lesser extent). There can not be an option for client-sided corpse display times, because the system simply does not work like that.
As this simply can not be implemented, this thread does not require further attention.
