Something which bugs me at times, is not knowing whether a green weapon has actually dropped, if you go farming with henches or Heroes.
It rases the question of whether Hereoes reduce the drop rate. At the moment we have to rely on Anet's word that they dont, and that drops rates are not influenced by anything other then how many players in a team.
But we cant actually tell, because we dont know what Heroes or henches pick up, or what items drop for them.
Compared to when you farm with humans, we can see if a green drops, who its assigned too and if they pick it up. We can atleast see if an item dropped and come to some conclusion about the drop rate.
I suggest...
We're allowed to see the items which drop for Heroes and henches.
Which Heroe and/or hench its assigned to.
To view our Heroes personal storage to see what they pick up.
But we cant interact with their personal storage, and its cleared when entering a town/camp, or which ever way its normally cleared.
I would suggest being able to see henche storage, but they dont have an interface to allow it.
The benefits of this...
We can test the drop rates and come to genuine conclusions ourselves as to whether AI does effect the drop rate.
We can also tell whether a weapon, item or material dropped at all.
How..
It would be no different to looking at our own personal inventory. Open up the Inventory window and select your Hereo. Then have a button to view "Heroes storage", complete with all the same storage space you possess such as belt and two bags and runes of holding on each.
You couldnt interact with the items as they would be locked and slightly greyed out, but you can pass the mouse over and see the stats of items.
