New to assasin (help with build)

I recently purchased factions and I am enjoying it a lot... my interest is peaked to the effectiveness of sins in pvp..(been doing a lot of RA lately and starting to AB)

I have been playing a shock and awe paragon with blinding surge as a utility build to cause daze and blindness on casters and melee respectively...

then I found the assasin skill [card]templestrike[/card] and am interested to see what "pro" sins think of this build....

only about 4 att in deadly arts

Black spider strike can only be used every 30 seconds. Not worth it. Either take a better hex, or rework your combo.

Let's say we lose scorpion wire and all the hex thingies all together.

Let's make a combo that recharges every 20 seconds, like your Temple Strike.

For your playstyle, I'd go:

Way of the lotus, Golden Lotus Strike,Temple Strike, Twisting Fangs, Shadow Walk, Deadly Paradox, Feigned Neutrality, Res Signet.

Now I know Shadow Walk won't allow you to cast enchantments, but simply cast Way of the lotus first. Shadow Walk is 30 rc, but you don't need a shadowstep every spike do you?

So here's the complete combo:

Way of the lotus, shadow walk, golden lotus strike, temple strike, twisting fangs. to get out: deadly paradox + feigned neutrality. Deadly paradox will not disable your attack skills unless their recharge is below 10 seconds.

Siphon speed if you want to keep black spider strike
otherwise blah -__-

and remove the hex

if I cancelled shadow walk with deadly paradox...would I return to my casting position?

if so then this might work well right?

i like shadow of haste because you can use it for increased speed in other situations...

Yes clw, that's exactly what I meant with Shadow Walk. But once you're under it's effects, you cannot use "Way of the Lotus" anymore.

Are you having serious energy issues with your build? If you're not, I'm not sure why you're using Way of the Lotus. You might want to think about Zealous daggers.

That said, I'm going to go ahead and keep beating the [skill=text]Parasitic Bond[/skill] drum.

well the attack combo alone (3 skills) uses 30e (with about 6e return on golden lotus strike).... which doesnt leave much for escape/heal...

Sqube, zealous daggers are a must. Always. Unless stated otherwise.

I don't have a lot of personal experience with various daggers. My being poor and my total lack of farming means the only daggers I've been using are Daggers of Xuekao.

I figure I'll pick up a Zealous of Defense (for general use), an Ebon of Defense (for Warriors), and call it a day.

Maybe switch that Ebon to Shocking and go A/E with Conjure Lightning.
