I remeber reading somewhere on here or guildwiki that you have a 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 chance of getting armor, so theoretically, if you kill four guild lords in one run you should get one stolen armor. I used to average one armor per run but after the 4th run with a given character I havent gotten any since, so I think those odds go done a bit after you get a four armors.

The more guild lords you kill, the higher the chance to get some armor. But the chance per guild lord doesn't change. (So you'd have the same amount of chance of getting armor if you did the mission four times and only killed one guild lord, or if you did the mission once and killed four guild lords.)
As I understand, each killed guild lord (except for the first) makes armor pieces randomly appear for randomly selected group members.
Which would mean, that the larger the group, the smaller the chance for an armor "drop".
That said, I have tried it with 3 heroes and 4 henchies in exactly 10 runs (usually killing 4 guild lords per run) and haven't gotten a single armor piece. Ever.
Making this mission basically just a (very dull and frustrating) waste of time.
[e] After another 10 runs and 40 dead guild lords, I had still exactl 0 armor drops. So I decided to never paly this mission again, and bought the armor pieces for 6k each.
Would have gotten more money in the time I wasted, but oh well... just gonna forget about it.
(Oh my... such a waste of time. Especially since the other 2 challenge missions yielded plenty of armor pieces after 1-2 attempts).

My Dervish back when NF came out got 2 armors just by killing about 2-3 guild lords in 2 or so runs.
My monk got 0 total armors after 6 runs and about 28 guild lords down
My elementalist got 3 on his first run after killing 4-5 guild lords, then got 1 more in the next 2 runs.
So it's rather random I guess.

My guild has had some fun with that mission trying to get on the monthly records and after our first couple of runs figuring out the mission, we'd end up killing about 8-10 guild lords per run. After doing 2-3 real runs we averaged about 4 armors each, which seems to follow the accepted theory.
We didn't get any armors on our initial runs though, so *maybe* the drop rates increase the more guild lords you kill in one run?
Or it could be completely random like other people have said.

It was crazy the first time I played that challenge. The first run, I got past the first three stages, and I got two armors. The second time, one, and then nothing...I must have played this more than a few times, and still have yet to get another one. All the times I've only gotten past the first three stages.

I used to have a stickied guide in this forum, but it got unstickied since i didnt decide to update it.
It shows some tips to get at least 5-6 guild lords every run. Theres a rumour that ur chances on a armor drop, drops after 4 drops significantly. But I have never seen the proof of it, just people saying so. Same can I say about the opposite. Every player has an individual chance to get the drop after you kill a GL. Killing GL's is the only thing that gives you the armors.
Look for my thread in the pile of dung, its called guide to hero armor or something.
