GW NF Prerelease Bonus Pack

Can you add this key to an account that already has Nightfall? Reason I ask is that it gives a bonus character slot and I can get it for $5 versus the $10 from the GW store.

Yes i believe you can as the only requirement to get the char key is having a nightfall key on that account. But do note that you can only have ONE pre release code on your account, So if you buy two, you wont be able to add the 2nd

I gave the bonus key to my nephew for Christmas, and he installed it on January 1st and got all of the perks to his already existing Nightfall account, in addition to the additional character slot. So I'm pretty sure the information above is a bit inaccurate.

Hmm.. Well that came from the disc which is from the bonus pack. It should be accurate. Maybe they just havn't disabled them yet or decided not to.

Or completely forgot.

Well, I don't have NF yet, but I added the key to my account anyways, and all my characters can access the weapons already. And I hope the extra slot won't expire, cuz otherwise, Anet will have a problem with me. LOL

I apologize for dusting this thread off, but I would like some confirmation as to whether the Nightfall pre-release package is still working or not. The reason I ask this is that even though it says they do expire on the last day of 2006, some of the above posters have claimed that they still managed to add on their packages after the specified date. Whether this is due to timezone differences or not, I am unsure.

If anyone has added on the pre-release package AFTER the last day of 2006, could you please confirm with me whether it still worked?
