I know that if you buy one from a trader, you get basic red flags in your guild hall. But if you win them in the Hall of Heros, you get your Guild Cape instead of those flags.
My question is: What if you suck at the Hall of Heroes? Can you trade with a non guild member who won one in the HoH, and still get the capes?
Is there any way to clarify this? I sent a question to ArenaNet but they gave me some crap aboout how they wont answer individual questions anymore....

I know that the Isle of Meditation guild hall the flags are blank unless your GvGing, then it will take on the guild emblem of whoever has captured the flag stand

thats like that in every guild hall, and the sigis you buy/chest loot are the same, theres no special sigil so this is a false statement.
