I like this for a good support build. It protects your party, increases critical hits, and adds two conditions. It's not meant as a main healer, or main source of damage , but it is meant to supplement all of the above.

The inclusion of Apply Poison is usually queried, but it makes condition removal that much more difficult, as you're causing burning as well. It's certainly swappable for something else though. Blazing Finale needs to be cast on your melee character(s) and is swappable for [skill=text]Anthem of Flame[/skill].

Also, although the build recommended above is good at dealing damage, it's not what i would call a support build. Sure, it has shouts that benefit the whole party, but then so does a warrior with [skill=text]"Watch Yourself!"[/skill], and you wouldn't call him a support character! (Or at least, I wouldn't!)

HOw about increasing over all kill speed.
And this is the next level of paragon support which it's more than capable of doing if you'r willing do do the work.
Looking for synergy between what the paragon is capable of and what you've built into the rest of your team. It's the next step and the new "take" on team support with Anet's creation of the paragon. Go for everything it can offer and after making sher you'r coming out alive now tweak the "team" build for that increased killing speed.
